A title of respect for scholars. If a Dastur wants to transition from an apprentice to a full member, they must have papers on two different topics pass review...
Herbad
A title of respect for scholars; those who can be called Herbad are all knowledgeable sages capable of guiding others.
Kavikavus, the academic genius of Kshahrewar, was called a Herbad before the age of thirty.
Sage
"Sage" is the highest title for researchers in the Akademiya. Since the Akademiya's founding, the Six Sages have not only been the academic elites of the Six Darshans but also the heads of each school.
From among the Six Sages of the Six Darshans, a "Grand Sage" is elected to serve as the pinnacle governing the Akademiya. The previous Grand Sage of the Akademiya was Azar of Rtawahist.
The Six Darshans
The Akademiya consists of the Six Darshans, each based in one of the six schools, holding permanent seats within the Akademiya. Although the Six Darshans study different fields, the Sages frequently interact with one another due to their administrative duties in managing the Akademiya.
Amurta
Affiliated with Amurta, it is the oldest Darshan in the Akademiya. It was originally composed of scholars who followed Greater Lord Rukkhadevata to cultivate the rainforest, and it remains the largest to this day.
Its representative color is green.
It includes sub-disciplines such as biology, ecology, and medicine.
In short, they are either farming or raising livestock.
"A Guide to Rainforest Biology" is a popular book in Amurta. It is said thatTighnarialso participated in the compilation.
Rtawahist
Based in Rtawahist, it centers its research on the starry sky, believing that the heavens reflect the truth and write destiny.
Its symbol is blue.
It includes disciplines such as astronomy and astrology.
In short, they are either stargazing or doing grueling calculations.
"Daily Stargazing: Fast-Track Star Chart Mapping" is an enrichment book for Rtawahist. "I'm going to wipe your star chart!" is a high-frequency phrase used when Rtawahist scholars argue.
Spantamad
Based in Spantamad, it is a Darshan with elements as its theoretical core, focusing on the study of elemental reactions and changes.
Because they need to investigate Ley Lines in various places, Spantamad has more "Driyosh" (traveling scholars) compared to other Darshans.
Its symbol is red.
It includes disciplines such as alchemy, elemental science, and ley line studies.
In short, they are either conducting reaction experiments or out on field trips.
"The Miraculous Power of Elements" is an experimental guide book owned by every member of Spantamad. Its borrowing rate is very low, while its repurchase rate is very high.
Haravatat
Based in Haravatat, it is a school that regards language and writing as the core and essence of the world.
Its symbol is black.
It includes disciplines such as linguistics and runology.
In short, they are either deciphering ancient texts or creating new characters.
"Logical Concepts in Rune Language" is an advanced reading for Haravatat.AlhaithamConsiders it an introductory reading.
Vahumana
Based in Vahumana, it seeks to explore the source, composition, and essence of knowledge. It originally originated from the refutation and reflection on the residual theories of King Deshret, and later various social sciences were born from it.
Its symbol is yellow.
It includes disciplines such as history and sociology.
In short, they are either memorizing books or debunking rumors.
"A Detailed History of Sumeru's Last 300 Years" is a classic text of Vahumana. Because it is very thick, Vahumana scholars often carry it for self-defense.
Kshahrewar
Based in the Darshan of Kshahrewar, it originated from the study and manufacture of powered mechanisms. Since building mechanisms involves knowledge from various fields, it is a fairly comprehensive school.
Its symbol is white.
It includes disciplines such as architecture and mechanism studies.
In short, they are either building houses or solving puzzles.
Research into mechanical life was once all the rage in this school; scholars in this field proposed using knowledge to create a brand-new, useful form of lifeartificial intelligence, to help humanity conquer nature. However, in order to explore the differences between natural and mechanical life, fanatical scholars performed unrestrained vivisections on animals. The experiments were exceptionally cruel, so the Akademiya banned research into mechanical life several years ago.
"Classical Mechanics: From Beginner to Expert" is required reading for Kshahrewar. If there is anything you don't understand, you can consultFaruzan。
It was a branch school of the Akademiya a long time ago. It is said they advocate strange theories such as "one should sacrifice their life to protect the inheritance of knowledge" and "war is the order of Teyvat." In short, they are quite eccentric and parted ways with other schools long ago, no longer on the same branch. Although they seem to still exist deep in the desert, most people have either never heard of them or treat them as absurd legends.
During the Khaenri'ah cataclysm five hundred years ago, the group was founded in the Vourukasha Oasis region by the one-armed sage Nagarjuna, who came from the rainforest, and his followers. They once established connections with Pari through rituals and fought side-by-side against the pitch-black monsters. They were once quite prosperous, but now the ritual texts have long been lost or incomplete, and their contents are not entirely reliable. The "Kory Drums," tools used to establish connections with Pari, have been "lost"Actually, they were thrown away by the Pari Rashne, who wanted to sleep in peace...scattered everywhere, and due to negligence in the rituals, the Sign of Coming Apaosha broke out prematurely. The current "Order Master" Nasejuna even directly defected to the Abyss forces, who were supposed to be their enemies.
The Akademiya's library: House of Daena
House of Daena
It is the Akademiya's library where scholars or students can borrow some of the books; many other collections are only open to senior scholars for use as documentary evidence.
Because most knowledge can be obtained through Akasha Terminals, many people read books just to witness the source of knowledge with their own eyes; Katayun, the librarian of the House of Daena, believes that "for a long time, rather than calling the House of Daena Sumeru's library, it's more like a museum."
Some students believe that to conduct good scientific research, one cannot rely solely on what the Akasha Terminal provides. If one wants to research more deeply, it is best to find the source of the knowledge, read it word by word, and add one's own thinking. Therefore, even with the popularity of Akasha Terminals, some students still borrow books from the House of Daena.
Kavish Prize
An award established by the Sumeru Akademiya for young scholars. Every year, the Sages of the Akademiya review the research reports submitted that year and then vote collectively to select the award winner. Every scholar who won the award before the age of forty has made a great name for themselves in Sumeru's academic circles.
The requirements for the winning scholars are: the research topic must be breakthrough, strong innovation ability, great personal development potential, and under forty years of age.
Akademiya Extravaganza
A grand event hosted by the Akademiya with a very long history. Specifically, it can be subdivided into two parts: the "Wisdom Gala" and the "Interdarshan Championship."
The "Wisdom Gala" is held every year. During the festival, the Six Darshans set up booths in the city to entertain tourists and promote the interesting aspects of their respective schools, thereby increasing their influence. The "Interdarshan Championship," held every four years, allows each of the Six Darshans to select a representative to compete for the final championship title.
There are also people in Sumeru other than scholars, and not everyone can or is willing to go to the Akademiya to study and become a scholar.
Once it comes to the "thesis guidance" stage, no matter what kind of advisor they are, they will suddenly become terrifying. It is quite normal for scholars in the Akademiya to have not graduated even after passing the age of 30.

Trivia
The names of the Six Darshans of the Akademiya are derived from Zoroastrianism (commonly known in China asXian()Religion or Fire-Worship) and its six Amesha Spenta: Amurta corresponds to the god of plants, Spantamad corresponds to the god of the earth, Haravatat corresponds to the god of water, Vahumana corresponds to the god of animals, Kshahrewar corresponds to the god of the sky and minerals, and Rtawahist corresponds to the god of humans and truth.
Regarding the icons of the Six Darshans of the Akademiya, except for the bird of Amurta whose species is unknown, the icons of the other five Darshans are all divine beasts in Buddhism: the lion of Kshahrewar is the mount of Manjushri Bodhisattva, symbolizing wisdom; the elephant of Rtawahist is the mount of Samantabhadra Bodhisattva, symbolizing reason and virtue; the peacock of Spantamad is the symbol of Mahamayuri; the horse of Vahumana is one of the symbols of Avalokitesvara; the bull of Haravatat is one of the symbols of Tathagata.
