"Shoujo☆Kageki Revue Starlight", abbreviated as "Shoujo Kageki", "Shojo Kageki", or "Starlight", the project is a new sensory media franchise characterized by a "Musical" × "anime adaptation." two-layered development.

- Project Inception (2015-2017)
- In 2015,BushiroadShortly after the multimedia project "BanG Dream!" was launched, development began on a new project themed around "the stage," in collaboration with Nelke Planning, a stage production company. WithTatsuto Higuchi、Nakamura Kanata、Tomohiro Furukawathe team led by [them] establishing the original concept, which was then handed over to the stage and anime production teams respectively to realize a "two-layered" development.
