Introduction
The homeroom teacher of Class D, she teaches Japanese History. She has a cold personality and often goes to the school building's rooftop to smoke. Her attitude toward her class appears passive, and she does not proactively provide information about exams.
During her student days, she witnessed the glory of Class D, but fell short of being promoted to Class A at the last moment, leading to a life of regret. She is close friends with Chie Hoshinomiya, the homeroom teacher of Class B, and they were classmates at Advanced Nurturing High School.

History
She was once a student of Class D at this school. Back then, when the point difference with Class A was small, she seemingly made a wrong decision that caused the points to never catch up with Class A again, a matter she still hasn't come to terms with. Outwardly, she shows an attitude of disinterest in class competition, but after learning about Ayanokouji's background, she views him as the key to making up for her past mistakes and privately becomes proactive. She noticed Ayanokouji's abnormality early on and observed his actions firsthand. She uses the story of the Wings of Icarus to draw a parallel with Kiyotaka Ayanokouji. Because Ayanokouji's father wanted him to drop out, she took the opportunity to threaten Ayanokouji: if he didn't help her current class reach Class A to fulfill her past regret, she would find a pretext to expel him; however, if he helped her, she would protect him from expulsion. Later, because Ayanokouji's father proactively came to the school, it was revealed that he had never contacted her at all, and everything was just her deception. Consequently, Ayanokouji threatened her in return, telling her not to force him into class competition again, or he would let her know that "the status of a teacher is not safe." Although she didn't show it, she developed a fear of Ayanokouji in her heart.

During her third year of high school, she became a couple with the class leader the day before the Unanimous Special Exam. In the special exam (where the class had to reach a unanimous decision to expel someone to pass), the leader guided the whole class to vote for his own expulsion because he didn't want to sacrifice other students.
