Hackclaw (Mai Xiaowen)isTencent Games's game "Delta Force] and its derivative works. The operator class is "Recon".
Introduction
As a top electronic offense and defense expert, Mai Xiaowen was specially recruited by G.T.I. as an exception.
She has applied multiple times to carry out missions in the Ahsarah region, the reasons for which seem to be closely related to her past.
Skill Description
Class Passive — Recon
In Hazard Operations mode, reconnaissance radio stations distributed throughout the map can be used to scout the opening status of random extraction points and the presence of bosses.
Passive: Silent Stealth
Walking silently and moving while crouched is faster, while also producing less noise.
- When walking silently, Hackclaw's movement speed is 20% faster than other operators; crouched movement speed is 15% faster.
- The actual effect of "producing less noise" is a reduction in the propagation distance of footsteps (10%), rather than truly lowering the maximum decibel level of the footsteps. Within the propagation range, Hackclaw's silent footsteps are actually easier to detect due to a higher step frequency.
Throwable: Data Knife
Throws a Data Knife that hacks and temporarily disables electronic devices within a 10m spherical radius upon stopping. Knocking down enemies reduces cooldown. Hitting an enemy marks their squadmates within a 30m radius.
- The hacking effect silences, interrupts, or disables certain skills and electronic weapon attachments of enemy Operators (including enemy Hackclaws) for 10 seconds. Silenced enemies experience visual interference.
- The effects of Data Knife hacking on various Operators' skills are as follows. "Interrupt and Silence" means the skill's effects are directly interrupted and any generated entities are destroyed; "Silence and Disable" means that in addition to silencing the skill, existing entities will temporarily stop working; "Silence Only" means existing effects and entities are unaffected.

- After being hacked by the throwing knife, the flashlights and lasers equipped on the player's weapon will be unusable until the status ends. The reticle of the sight will temporarily disappear (though some optical sight markings remain normal). The character highlighting of thermal sights, the rangefinding function of ballistic calculation scopes, and the enemy information acquisition function of fire-control sights will all be disabled.
- In Hazard Zone mode, some map facilities that "lack power and cannot be started" can be provided with temporary power using the throwing knife.
- There is no official data on the throwing knife's damage yet. It is known that in Hazard Zone, it can be directly lethal when hitting the head protected by a Level 4 or lower helmet, or the torso protected by Level 2 or lower armor[1], and hitting any part of an NPC except for Gunners, Flamethrowers, and Bosses results in an instant kill; in Havoc Warfare, it can instant-kill any enemy operator hit.
- When an enemy is silenced by the throwing knife, Hackclaw will receive a hit notification, and there will be a connection between the knife and the enemy similar to aSignal Decrypterconnection. This feature can be used to detect enemies near the landing point. However, accordingly, the sound of the knife charging, being thrown, and landing may also expose Hackclaw's position. When detecting an enemy's position through a direct hit with the knife, the exposed enemy will receive a warning.
- In Hazard Zone, knocking down a hostile NPC by any means will reduce the throwing knife'scurrent remainingcooldown by 70%, and by 90% when knocking down a player; in Havoc Warfare, knocking down an enemy by any means will immediately replenish one throwing knife. Why does it sound like the code for Vyron's jet was copied over...
- In Hazard Zone, hitting an enemy player who is alive, downed, dead, or even turned into a loot box with the throwing knife can mark their nearby teammates. A dead player can only be marked once before being revived.
- Similar to Luna's reconnaissance ability, enemies in smoke will not be detected by the Data Knife.
Tactical Skill: Flash Drone
Come on, eyes wide open!
Throws a forward-flying drone that uses a strobe light to blind enemies within range. When the crosshair selects the decrypter's trajectory line, the line will turn yellow, and the drone will follow the selected yellow trajectory.
- When the drone detects an enemy within 36 meters not obscured by cover, it will emit a blue light and a beep as a brief warning, then flash towards the enemy. If the drone is within the target's front 180° range, it will deal 1 damage and blind a large area in the center of the target's vision, preventing them from aiming down sights; otherwise, it only causes a very brief dazzling effect without dealing damage. Non-boss NPCs in Hazard Operations will be briefly stunned and unable to attack when flashed by the drone, regardless of the direction they are facing.
- Flash blinding does not interfere with the target's hearing, nor does it prevent the target from firing or using skills. After being blinded by an enemy drone, the target can still determine the enemy's position and counterattack based on the visuals at the edge of their vision and audio cues. Being blinded by a drone 3 consecutive times within a short period will grant temporary immunity.
- After hitting a wall, the drone will continue to fly along the reflection path on the wall until it reaches its maximum flight distance. Non-bulletproof glass will be shattered and passed through directly by the drone.
- Each drone will only flash the same enemy once. If an enemy hides behind cover during the warning period and cannot be observed by the drone, the flash action will be canceled, and it will attempt to flash again once they re-enter the detection range.
- If the drone detects multiple enemies within its detection range, it will flash and blind them one by one based on the closest-first principle.
- The drone has a hitbox and can therefore be shot down by enemies.
- The drone's flash has a certain directionality, allowing for the approximate detection of an enemy's position.
- In Hazard Operations, after the drone triggers its firstflash against a player,it will forcibly self-destruct after 2 seconds. The target type can be determined based on whether the drone self-destructs after flashing.
Special Skill: Signal Decoder
Hide and seek is over!()!
Use the decoder to periodically scan up to six enemy electronic signals within 60 meters ahead, and display the tracking trajectory lines of these signals on the contact lenses. The closest trajectory line will be displayed in red. The alert level received by the enemy will increase as Hackclaw gets closer.
- The scanning range is a 140° spherical sector in front of Hackclaw's field of vision, while enemies in other directions will be ignored. Upon discovering an enemy signal, Hackclaw will provide a voice prompt to allies.
- In different modes, the Decryptor's scan duration and scan cycle vary:
- Beacon Zone: Scan lasts for 24 seconds, scanning once every 6 seconds for a total of 4 scans;
- All-Out Warfare: Scan lasts for 18 seconds, scanning once every 3 seconds for a total of 6 scans.
- The connection lines may display incorrectly due to factors such as height differences.Although the developers have been trying to optimize the connection logic, it is still not 100% reliable.
- Hostile NPCs in Beacon Zone will not be scanned.
- Scanned enemy players will hear faint radio interference and see slight screen flickering at the edges if they are far away; if they are close, they will hear a distinct alert sound, and error codes indicating they are being hacked will appear at the bottom of the screen.
- In Beacon Zone, the first scan of each Decryptor activation reports the selected Operator and armor level of the scanned enemies. If at least one enemy is equipped with Level 5 armor or higher, Hackclaw's voice report will include extra prompts with keywords like "well-equipped," "heavy target," or "fully armed." The subsequent three scans will not display the enemy's Operator or armor level, but if a new enemy signal is scanned, there will still be a voice prompt and high-level armor marking. This means that even if no enemy Operators are detected in the first scan, subsequent scans can still determine if someone is present and whether they have Level 5 or higher armor through special voice lines, even without displaying enemy info. However, the scan does not report the target's armor durability. Whether it's a full-durability Heavy Assault or a "rat" player's heirloom Level 6 set with only 1 durability point, the scan's voice report remains the same.
- If you point your crosshair at a trajectory line on the ground, the selected line will turn yellow while others turn white. At this point, by long-pressing the skill button to charge and then releasing the Flash Drone, the drone will follow the connection trajectory at the time of release and fly toward the tracked target.

Tactical Gear Information
- Signal Decrypter
Hackclaw's reconnaissance system consists of two parts: an external Decryptor and matching contact lenses. The Decryptor can accurately capture electronic signals within range and hack into the source devices. This meticulously designed hacking code can quickly obtain basic device information and decode signal loops into visualized paths displayed on the wearer's contact lenses.
- Flash Drone
The Flash Drone possesses integrated automated reconnaissance and strike capabilities. Once activated, it can synchronize with the path signals located by the Decryptor. After automatically tracking and sensing the target, it generates an intense light of 8 million candelas, causing temporary blindness and dizziness in the target, completing the tactical loop from reconnaissance to interference.
- Data Knife
In appearance, it is a military throwing knife made of special spring steel, capable of easily piercing conventional armor in close-to-mid-range combat. Operator Hackclaw typically installs a built-in miniature data processor in the hilt. After being thrown and piercing a hardware interface, pre-installed virus programs can quickly crack information in storage devices or disrupt the operating programs of enemy electronic equipment.
Operator Psychological State Assessment
After the evaluation interview began, Operator Hackclaw remained focused on beating a game on her phone with her headphones on, until she heard the evaluator address her by her real name, "Mai Xiaowen," which finally pulled her back to reality.
Between the ages of 15 and 18, Mai Xiaowen lived with an anti-Havoc organization and became active online under the codename Hackclaw, leaking a large amount of dirt related to Havoc. Even with G.T.I.'s intelligence network, it is difficult to grasp the full picture of Mai Xiaowen's childhood; this part of her history is filled with numerous contradictions, as if her life only truly began the moment she became "Hackclaw." During the evaluation, we attempted to use psychological testing to understand her upbringing before age 15, but she always saw through our intentions. When faced with such questions, she would lazily reply, "There's nothing much to say."
We could only turn our attention to her experiences from two years ago. By then, she had left the civilian protest organization and joined an Interpol team monitoring Havoc's activities. There, she received basic training in physical fitness, combat, and firearms usage, and several combat opportunities allowed her proficiency in electronic warfare to shine. Afterward, Mai Xiaowen added herself to G.T.I.'s candidate list by hacking into our database, an act that wasn't discovered until the late stages of the transfer process. "Even Hackclaw leaves traces," the evaluator said in a joking tone, likely trying to lighten the mood. To this, Mai Xiaowen only responded sullenly, "There won't be a next time."
In Mai Xiaowen's resume, the most frequent point of intersection is undoubtedly Havoc. Given the situation in the Asara region, G.T.I. and Havoc are bound to have more conflicts, which may be why she chose to join G.T.I. "A real channel is always noisy." There are undoubtedly many "noise points" in Mai Xiaowen's past, which is largely related to her identity as a hacker. To avoid exposure, she must constantly erase or distort traces of herself for protection. Therefore, during the evaluation, we are also willing to consider her performance since joining G.T.I.
During one operation, Mai Xiaowen successfully modified an enemy drone's tracking signal, redirecting the target to herself to cover the safe evacuation of Asara refugees and lure the enemy into an ambush. Taking risks to protect the weak and serving as a key tactical component, Mai Xiaowen has already proven herself to be an excellent special operations operator.

Operation Codename:Fox Hunt
Date:January 20, 2031
Venue:North America
Mission Objective:The target, "Pyramid," resembles a USB flash drive and is carried as a pendant-like token by a white-haired girl. The girl's specific identity is unknown; it has only been determined that she is currently operating with an anti-Havoc protest organization. We will raid the assembly site during the organization's offline gathering to recover the Pyramid.
Action Report:On the day of the operation, the assembly site was located in an urban area. Of the four people who infiltrated first, only one carried an assault rifle. Upon entering the first-floor courtyard, we found the iron gates tightly shut, other entrances piled with sandbags, and steel plates nailed over all windows on the second and third floors. It was clear they were prepared for a firefight. We soon came under fire from the second floor. After destroying the cover and entering the main building, we quickly neutralized the enemy. This individual was indeed a member of the protest organization, but no other personnel were present at the scene.
To avoid losing the trail, we used the Havoc network to access the municipal traffic surveillance system, quickly comparing the facial data of the organization's key members in an attempt to lock onto the target's movements. However, the tracking data showed the target appearing in five locations across the city simultaneously. Realizing the opponent had the capability to hack into Havoc's network system, we had to change our strategy, mobilizing an overwhelming number of informants at city exits, airports, and docks, eventually locking onto the target once more. When discovered, the target girl was driving toward a suburban highway, but as soon as the pursuit convoy came within 100 meters of the target vehicle, the driving systems would completely crash, ultimately leading to the failure of the operation.
Action Postscript:Following the failure of the operation, we realized that the target organization possesses solid tactical awareness and intelligence-gathering capabilities, and can counter the pursuit methods we initiate using the Havoc network. We will continue to investigate their organizational structure and member information. Through the new video footage obtained during the operation, we have narrowed down the white-haired girl's identity to the following range:

- Hackclaw: A reminder to you who are reading this, the information from this line onward has been completely tampered with. You might be as curious about everything regarding me as they are, but you certainly don't want to know which prison these people are currently rotting in. The price of secrets is high, and curiosity can do more than just kill a cat.

Trivia
- Although her personality shows obvious cat-like traits, her powerful information-gathering abilities as a reconnaissance operator and excellent stealth skills also make her very suitable for the "rat" playstyle of avoiding combat and "knife running." Because of this, she is also jokingly called "Mai Shushu" by players.
- Since she and Wyvern are both Chinese characters, they are sometimes shipped as a couple (CP) by the player community.Later, the official team also began to indirectly in some entertainment plotsHanding out candynow, which is a cause for celebration.
- In the operator display interface outside of matches, the large screen in the background of Hackclaw's display animation will occasionally show a glitchy screen effect from being hacked.
- The starting voice line for the Ink Cloud skin includes: "Father, I did it. But it's not enough, right?" This hints that the reason for Hackclaw's opposition to Havoc is related to her family—according to the character song for Ink Cloud,GOT YOU's song story, the USB-shaped storage device referred to by Havoc as the "Cone" is a memento left to Hackclaw by her father.
- Seems to be aBrat. The game's interactive voice AI "CC," when asked about Hackclaw-related matters, often recounts numerous "glorious deeds" of Hackclaw playing pranks on other operators.
- After the fire-control sight is hacked by the Data Knife, the error effects in the scope's field of view include a flashing Havoc icon. So, in the setting, are all enemy players members of Havoc?
