When Roxy was 14, she left home without telling her family and registered as an adventurer. However, because her race stops aging physically at 14, she was still treated as a child even at 17. It took her a while to find a place where she belonged. Soon after, she gained her first companions: the horse-man Nokobara, the pig-man Blaze, and the leader Hakendiru. Three years later, she became a B-rank adventurer, but the good times of working and laughing together came to an end. During a mission, they encountered a mana disaster; the leader Hakendiru was crushed by a falling boulder and died instantly. The leaderless party disbanded immediately. This was Roxy's first time experiencing the fragility of life and reality. When she reported to the local guild, the receptionist's expressionless response led her to re-examine the value of life.
Alone once again, Roxy looked at the sea from the port in despair, then boarded a ship to another continent—Millis. Reunion with Rudeus
While searching for Rudeus's mother in the massive Teleportation Labyrinth in Rapan, she accidentally fell into a chain teleportation trap and was trapped. At death's door, she was saved by Rudeus, who had come to support them after receiving Geese's call for help. From that moment, Roxy fell in love with Rudeus. Later, during the battle with the Labyrinth's guardian, Paul sacrificed himself to protect his son, and Rudeus fell into despair and depression. Roxy felt she had to do something for Rudeus, and through her encouragement and by offering her body[4]to comfort Rudeus, she helped him pull himself together once more.
Because Rudeus thought Roxy was pregnant, he proposed to her on the way back to take responsibility.
