Early LifeNoah Shirosaki has loved painting since she was a child, always staying in a small room and drawing on the back of flyers all day long. She begged her mother to buy painting tools, and her room was filled with her own drawings; at that time, Noah lived in happiness. Until one day, she awakened her magic, which made Noah's paintings even more beautiful, and in the blink of an eye, the name of the street artist "Balloon" spread all over the world. Everyone would praise Noah's paintings. However, she had to face her previous works—every time she wanted to paint a new piece, the magic would black out her previous works one by one. "No one will like the paintings Noah drew by hand, no one will like such ugly paintings, because even Noah herself has come to dislike them." Thus, [having paintings (drawn without magic) seen] became Noah's psychological trauma.  Emma's ChapterNoah, as a witch candidate, was kidnapped to the Witch's Prison along with twelve other girls, and wasNatsume An'anassigned to the same cell. During dinner on the first day, while she was absorbed in drawing in the cell, she wasEmma Sakurabaseen, and she demonstrated her magic[3]. Because she sprayed the entire cell with red spray paint, the pungent smell causedNatsume An'anto faint. As an apology, she later drew a purple butterfly in An-An's notebook as her "charm." On the second day, after Emma woke up, she andTachibana Sherryexplored the prison and noticed that the drawings in Noah's room had changed and were very detailed. Shirley then recognized Noah's identity as "Balloon," which was confirmed by Noah herself. On the fourth day, the identity of "Balloon" became known to everyone, sparking a heated discussion, which becameHasumi Reathe motive for killing her. During dinner, Noah, who was drawing in her cell, was asked by Emma if she wanted to go out to eat. She told Emma "it's okay," saying everyone was very kind to her, bringing her food and chatting with her, and said that to repay everyone, she had to hurry and finish a drawing that would make everyone happy when they saw it. Later that day, Noah sprayed the room white, but at that moment, the killerused [Gaze Induction] magic to fix her gaze on the ceiling, and then, while defenseless, she was stabbed in the chest by a makeshift spear assembled by the killer,and was murdered in her cell. Though she couldn't stop crying, she struggled to speak out: Even when Noah was stabbed... Furthermore,Hosho MargoPointed out that butterflies symbolize "immortality and eternity," and believed that "Everyone, please stay alive" was Noah's true dying message. This plunged the courtroom into a somber atmosphere and significantly shook the culpritalthough it was likely an act. However, when the culprit was executed, the truth was finally revealed: Noah's identity as a "Balloon" stole the center of discussion from everyone, and the culprit could not stand the existence of someone more dazzling than herself, as that was her trauma. Hiro's ChapterIn the second playthrough, Noah still chose to stay in her room to paint during mealtime,Hiro Nikaidoprepared a portion of food to bring to Noah, but when Hiro saw the cell painted entirely red by Noah, she scolded her. Although Noah used magic to retract the spray paint, she claimed she couldn't live without painting. Hirosaw the shadow of Yuki in Noah and felt she couldn't leave her aloneso she promised to find a place for Noah to paint Hiro continued to take care of Noah as they spent the next two days peacefully, but on the morning of the third day, everyone heardNatsume An'an's scream and rushed to Noah and An-An's room, only to find the room completely white, created by Noah using magic because she was dissatisfied with not being able to paint in the cell at night. Noah continued to spray paint as if she hadn't heard An-An's scream at all. In a fit of anger, Hiro slapped Noah, and Noah aggrievedly said, "...I hate Hiro the most." In the infirmary, seeing the unwell An-An, Noah realized the seriousness of the situation and began to reflect, but still had a dispute with Hiro. Later, Noah chose to stay by An-An's side to take care of her, and the matter finally settled down. After the Meruru case, Noa and An-An's relationship gradually improved, but a rift formed between Noa and Hiro after their argument, and they grew distant. To bring the girls closer together,Hasumi Readecided to plan a stage play performance in the prison. Noa was responsible for sketching the stage backgrounds and mentioned that her ability to manipulate magic had strengthened recently. While Hiro was exploring the prison, she discovered Noa's graffiti in the shower room and learned fromSawatari Koko's mouth that Noa might be the famous artist "Balloon." A few days later, while Hiro was preparing to execute the plan to murderEmma Sakuraba, Noa tried to go to the shower room to graffiti. Hiro had no choice but to take Noa to the art room. On the way, Noa wanted to say something to Hiro but hesitated and ultimately remained silent. Subsequently,Sawatari Kokowas murdered. However, that night,Natsume An'anwas murdered. During the trial, the fact that the blood on An-An's body did not turn into butterflies due to Noa's magic exposed An-An's fake suicide plan. Hiro pointed out that the heavy rain that washed away the traces at the scene was caused by Noa's [Liquid Manipulation] magic. Noa and Hiro engaged in a heated debate in court, and Hiro eventually exposed Noa's lies using the contradiction of the different water levels in the fountain before and after the case. After being directly refuted by Hiro, Noa confessed to the process of the crime. She took advantage of An-An's fake suicide plan; when An-An sat up after landing, Noa used an iron fence to pierce the defenseless An-An from behind and used magic to create heavy rain to erase her own footprints. Unwilling to believe the truth, the others questioned Noa's motive. Noa told everyone about her past: her paintings were all altered by magic, and Noa felt ashamed of her original drawings. However, An-An had accidentally saw a drawing Noa had done by hand, which made Noa feel pain and fear. Noel, led to the execution platform by the guards, hesitated to speak to Hiro again until she was locked inside the execution tank, at which point Hiro finally understood everything. The one who had led Noel out of the prison, always holding her hand and protecting her, was Hiro; Noel's hesitation was a wait, waiting for Hiro to approach her once more. Hiro rushed onto the execution platform and locked eyes with Noel through the glass of the tank, vowing never to give up on Noel again even if she didn't want it. Noel also shed tears, telling Hiro that she had always wanted to reconcile and say sorry. As the water level in the tank gradually rose, Noel expressed that she was very happy when Anya praised her hand-drawn pictures and had always wanted to show them to Hiro. The liquid in the tank did not seem to be ordinary water, as Noel's figure was gradually covered by bubbles and disappeared. The two girls gazed at each other through the glass that separated life and death, tears streaming down their faces. Noel smiled and spoke her final words to Hiro: ——Hiro.  In the end, Noel dissolved into bubbles and vanished into the water. She seemed to have completely dissolved, leaving no trace behind. Even the Warden was surprised by this outcome. After the trial, Hiro went to the incinerator room alone and searched desperately, eventually finding the drawings that Noel had truly painted by hand. Witch's Rest ChapterNoel participated in the final Witch Trial instigated by Hiro. After completingHikami MeruruandHasumi Rea's witchification, Hiro reflected on the cases she had experienced and decided to start with Noel, whose taboos were the clearest when she was the culprit. To provoke Noel, Hiro bluntly exposed the truth about her paintings and asked her to paint on the spot, which was refused. Facing the stubborn Noel, Hiro revealed the fact that she had already seen Noel's hand-drawn pictures and harshly criticized them against her own heart. Stimulated by this, Noel transformed into a witch and began to cry loudly, her tears turning into various colors due to magic. It was only underHikami Meruru's healing magic that Noel gradually calmed down. In the final argument with the Great WitchTsukishiro Yuki, Noel saw through the other's lies and pointed out that everything she did was of her own will, advising her to give up on revenge and do something happier together.
