30 years after the death of Himmel the Hero, Methode andGenauwere sent to the Lufen region of the Northern Plateau to carry out a subjugation mission that Genau had previously failed to complete. Methode acted very friendly, while Genau appeared somewhat cold and told Methode not to become like him,justMouth says no, but body says yesnothing more.。
The two wiped out the demons in the village and met up with Fern and the others who had also taken on the subjugation mission. Methode, Frieren, and Fern discussed and analyzed information about the remaining demons, then headed to an abandoned stronghold in the north to gather intelligence, while Genau and Stark stayed to protect the ruined church and the bodies placed within.On the way, Methode used the "magic to prevent eggshells from falling in when cracking eggs" as an exchange to pet Frieren to her heart's content again.
Methode's group encountered two bellicose and powerful demons on the road, who surrounded the three using mist-summoning magic. Abilities
Methode is an all-rounder mage. She can use various types of magic, including the Goddess's magic, but she doesn't have any particular specialty.
- Mind Control Magic: Forces an opponent with a "heart" to execute one's commands through eye contact. The more powerful the opponent, the greater the restrictions on the commands. Although Methode can use this magic, she is not as proficient as Edel.
- Binding Magic: Restricts the target's movement; it is effective as long as the difference in mana is not too great. Although Methode can use this magic, she is not very skilled at it.
- Ordinary Offensive Magic & Defensive Magic
- Mana Detection: A fundamental skill for mages, used to sense and track the mana and location of a specified target. Methode's detection ability is close to Frieren's level.
