Hina's halo consists of three concentric circles; the outer layer is a crown with a jagged upper edge and a spike extending from each side, and the inner layer has a bicone in the center. The overall color is purple and black for the outer layer, black for the middle layer, and purple for the inner layer. She is one of the few students whose halo has vertical thickness.
As the leader of a powerful organization like the Prefect Team, Hina appears to be a very calm and composed person. Although she is often busy with work, Hina is actually bored with many of her tasks.
In Vol. 3, the Eden Treaty Chapter, Hina, exhausted by Gehenna's affairs large and small, planned to retire after the treaty was successfully signed, but things did not go as planned. In Chapter 3, when Sensei found her in her pajamas at home, Hina stated that she could not, likeHoshinothe same, remain optimistic and move on with life after witnessing a tragedy. Character History
Main Story
First appeared in Vol. 1: Abydos Countermeasures Committee, Chapter 1, Episode 20, where she repelledAkoandIorithe siege on Problem Solver 68 and the Countermeasures Committee, and informed Sensei that Kaiser was searching for treasure in the Abydos Desert. When Sensei, gathering forces to rescue Hoshino, decisively knelt before Iori and licked her feet as requested, Hina appeared at the right moment. Thinking it rare for a teacher to go as far as kneeling for a student, she intended to listen to Sensei's request—but was utterly stunned when Iori explained that Sensei was licking her feet. Later, during the Countermeasures Committee's rescue of Hoshino, Hina organized the Prefect Team under the guise of public service to provide support for the Countermeasures Committee.
In Vol. 3: Eden Treaty, Chapter 3, she met with Sensei after taking custody of the Gourmet Research Society, expressing her thoughts on retirement and warning Sensei about the fact that everyone in Trinity has their own hidden agendas.
She escorts Sensei, who came to Gehenna Academy at night to discuss the treaty, and reiterates her plan to retire and her stance on agreeing to sign the treaty.
She actively promoted the Eden Treaty with her retirement and participated in the signing. After being ambushed by Arius on the day of the signing, she broke through the encirclement to rescue Sensei regardless of her own injuries. After meeting up with the Justice Task Force, she led Sensei to a safe area alone, but Sensei was still hit by Arius'sSaorigunshot. After returning to the Prefect Team's temporary command post, she felt guilty and powerless for failing to protect Sensei, so she hid herself away quietly.
After Sensei andSeiafinished chatting in a dream, on the eve of mobilizing the students for a general offensive against Arius, Sensei found Hina's hiding place on the first try. At this moment, Hina finally could not suppress her emotions, stating that she was not asHoshinomentally strong as others, and that she had really tried her best but still "couldn't receive Sensei's praise like Hoshino and the Make-Up Work Club." Later, comforted by Sensei, she regained her confidence and joined the counteroffensive against Arius, leading the Prefect Team to witness the signing of the new Eden Treaty.
In Vol. Final Episode, Hina collaborated with the RABBIT Squad and the Game Development Department to conduct a raid on the False Sanctuary at the amusement park. Before the battle began,Aliceinformed Hina of Sensei's evaluation of her, and Hina was very satisfied. —However,Momoiwhat was thought in heart was another, less satisfactory version. In Vol. 1 Abydos Foreclosure Task Force Chapter 3, since the railway gun discovered in the Abydos desert was one of the legacies left by the former Gehenna Student Council President, the "Tyrant" Thunder Emperor, Hina was entrusted by Sensei to stop Hoshino, who was pursuing the railway gun alone. The two fought all the way from the platform to the top of the train, and eventually, Hina knocked Hoshino down into a canyon. Later, the injured Hina blocked Hoshino again, incapacitating her, and stated that "there is still a way," believing that Sensei and the others would solve the railway gun problem. At the same time, she reminded Hoshino that Yume's death had nothing to do with the railway gun. However, under the deliberate guidance of the Underground Dweller, Hoshino's Mystery flipped into Terror, and Hina was also defeated by her.

After the victory, everyone returned to Abydos High School to recover from their injuries, and Hina bid farewell to everyone and returned to Gehenna. Relationship Story
In the Bond Stories, Sensei and Hina appear extremely bold, meeting late at night, calling her "Hina-chan," and even teasing her to the point where she convinces herself of his affection.
Sensei takes the initiative to invite Hina shopping, buying clothes, and going to the arcade; at a family restaurant during a break, he discovers Hina drinks black coffee without sugar or milk, and their conversation is even mistaken for flirting by the waiter.
One evening, Sensei visits Hina's room and says he wants to watch her work; eventually, Hina becomes so self-conscious that she decides to take a break, whereupon Sensei carries her to the balcony, where she confides her feelings about him.
As the holidays arrive, Hina decides to spend the time with Sensei. While enjoying some trivial but pleasant activities together, Hina explains the significance of the Prefect Team Lead's armband to Sensei.[1]

As a rehearsal for the training camp, Hina and Sensei go for a walk by the sea. However, Hina receives school work midway and has to leave temporarily, failing to return for a long time. Just as Sensei begins to worry, Hina contacts him, saying she is at the lost child center.
Sensei visits Hina, who continues to handle Prefect Team work even during the training camp. To help the exhausted-looking Hina, Sensei decides to process a large amount of paperwork with her. After finally finishing the work, although there is no time left to go to the beach, the two have dinner together.
Although Hina and Sensei had agreed to go to the beach together, she fell asleep from exhaustion after waking up early to work, thus missing their scheduled time. Upon waking, Hina immediately apologizes to Sensei, but he says it's not over yet, taking her hand and leading her to a terrace overlooking the sea.
For Hina, who is not good at swimming, Sensei decides to give her one-on-one special instruction. However, due to a series of accidents, Hina not only fails to receive the swimming lessons but also sees Sensei's time taken up. Sensei comforts Hina, and the two spend some time together.

On the day they agreed to pick out a dress together, Hina is unable to arrive on time due to Prefect Team work, so she asks Sensei to help her choose a dress.
Sensei is invited to Gehenna by Hina. In a space where they are alone together, Hina begins to perform for Sensei.
Club Stories
In the Prefect Team club story, Hina laments the students who caused over twenty accidents in two days, and she is often able to guess the culprits accurately. After Makoto, the president of the Pandemonium Society, has Iroha audit the Prefect Team just to pick a fight—resulting in a 95% cut to their training budget and jeopardizing next year's funds—a furious Hina confronts the Pandemonium Society, triggering an explosion.
In the Gourmet Research Society club story, Hina throws Sensei into jail because of a report that "someone is skinny-dipping in the pool." When she realizes she misunderstood Sensei and comes to the jail to release him, she happens to see Sensei smelling the item that had once wrapped truffles—Akari'snewly opened 100% pure silk panties.

Event Story
In the "Hina's Summer Vacation!" event, Ako noticed something unusual through Hina's subjective evaluation while drinking coffee and speculated that Hina was suffering from exhaustion. The Prefect Team, under the guise of summer training, collaborated with Sensei and decided to confine Hina to an island for forced rest. During the standby process, Sensei constantly traveled between the battlefield and Hina's room. Finally, at night, Hina expressed her wish for Sensei to teach her how to swim the next day. In the end, because Sensei was busy commanding and stood Hina up, the plan was exposed. Hina led the Prefect Team to defeat the enemies and began a hellish training session.
In the "Get Set Go! ~Kivotos Halo Festival~" event, Hina was constantly helping transport the injured at the temporary medical station, which also added a lot of workload for Ako.
In the "The Flower That Blooms in the Sun: Their Serenade" event, Hina led the Prefect Team to suppress the <seg id="0"/> who were commissioned byMakototo build a hot spring inside the newly proposed assembly hall but started a riot, though the assembly hall was destroyed in the melee. In the "Short Story: Pandemonium Society's Red Winter Tour," after Makoto and Iroha from the Pandemonium Society returned from an exchange meeting with Red Winter Federal Academy, the Student Council President of Red Winter Federal Academy,Cherino,presented a statue of Makoto with a heavy Red Winter style as a symbol of friendship to be erected at Gehenna Academy. This form of art was far too advanced for Hina, who shot the statue to pieces.
In the "Short Story: Unclaimed Gift," Hina bought two energy drinks and a can of black coffee at Angel 24 below Schale. The next day, when Sora tried to get clues about an unclaimed gift from Hina and suggested she wanted to enroll in Gehenna Academy, Hina was shocked as it didn't fit Sora's consistently serious image. She then gave her own views on Gehenna Academy for reference and gave Sora her contact information.
In the "Short Story: Record of a Certain February 19th," due to a logistics company error, the birthday cake the Prefect Team prepared for Hina was sent to Shanhaijing's Genryumon, and the cake she received was the one originally intended for the President of Genryumon,Kisaki'sbirthday cake. Trivia & Etymology
Sorasaki Hina's unique weapon is modeled after the WWII GermanMG42, which is the abbreviation for the German Maschinengewehr 42, meaning "Machine Gun Model 1942." It has arate of fire of up to 1,500 rounds per minutehigh rate of fire. The MG42's high rate of fire caused the sound of gunfire to be transmitted in very dense sound waves, sounding like the sound of cloth being torn. Therefore, Allied soldiers gave it nicknames such as "Hitler's Buzzsaw" and "The Cloth Ripper" to refer to it.
However, the high rate of fire also brought the disadvantage of the barrel being prone to overheating. If fired continuously like the EX skill in the game, the barrel would quickly overheat and affect its service life. Therefore, real-life MG42 squads usually used short bursts and carried multiple spare barrels.
After World War II, imitations were made based on this gun[4]the MG1 (the MG1 underwent many improvements, and its subsequent model MG1A3 was renamed MG3 by West Germany), converting the existing 40,000 WWII MG42s to 7.62 NATO caliber and naming them MG2, and also developed based on the MG3modernized models, which were also exported to other countries or produced under license and remain in service to this day. Hina's height is the sixth shortest in the entire game. Because her development stopped early, she can still wear her elementary school swimsuit even at 17 years old.
Back when she was in the Gehenna Intelligence Department, she viewedHoshinoas someone to be wary of; this is because Hoshino's own great strength led the Gehenna Intelligence Department to call her a "genius," and she was particularly bellicose, even being able to withstand the powerful laser of Orochi (the Iridescent Binah) head-on.

Hina's deterrent power in Gehenna is quite strong. It is precisely the Prefect Team led by Hina that maintains order, allowing the free and chaotic Gehenna to maintain its daily operations. Basically, the leaders of various factions in Gehenna (except for those who focus on "pleasure-seeking"Harunaaside) cower when they see Hina:Kasumibursts into tears immediately upon seeing Hina, whileArugets so scared she runs away immediately upon hearing Hina is coming.
But on the other hand, Hina is actually quite popular in daily life. Ibuki from the Pandemonium SocietyIbukilikes Hina very much, and Kirara and Erika from the Going Home Club even affectionately call Hina "Hina-chi" (ヒナっち).
Although it's not obvious, the Unique Item story for her original outfit reveals that Hina enjoys playing video games. Additionally, because she fought alongside the Game Development Department in the Final Episode, a fan-canon has emerged where she goes to play games with them during her breaks.

Hina's in-game chibi model received minor adjustments in the JP server's maintenance update on July 14, 2024, adding some clothing details and appearance tweaks.
Main Wife? Target of Bullying?
Hina, who appears exceptionally reliable and cute in the story, is remarkably popular. In her relationship stories, her shy and interesting reactions to Sensei's direct advances have captured the hearts of many Senseis, leading many to call her the "Main Wife." However, because Hina's interactions with Sensei are generally more restrained, while the other three members of the Prefect Team go much further, "bullying" Hina has instead become a common theme in fan creations. Over a year later, the appearance of Iroha—a character who shares many traits with Hina but goes on a full offensive—sparked a new wave of bullying memes in fan works. Two years after that, in Vol. 1 Chapter 3, Hina's duel with Hoshino and her defeat by the reversed Hoshino led to another surge of fan creations depicting Hina's suffering.
In-game Performance
Original Hina has average overall performance and versatility due to her high cost. She occasionally performs well in event challenge stages with special mechanics and Joint Exercises. Even with the bonus from her Unique Item andUi、New Year Fuukaand other cost-reduction supports, it is still difficult for her to shine in Total Assault and Grand Assault. Except for some occasions with special mechanics (such as Light Armor Perorodzilla and Light Armor ShiroKuro Grand Assault), both are usually used as backups for multi-team clears.
The appearance of Dress Hina can be said to have single-handedly changed the entire Light Armor Total Assault and Grand Assault meta. As a next-generation Explosive DPS, she could easily tear through Hieronymus and Kaiten Total Assault on Torment difficulty upon her debut. She even served as the main DPS in the subsequent Torment Gregorius Total Assault, using her overwhelming stats to brute force through ATK debuffs. Her 6-cost activation cost is almost negligible in the face of her extremely high skill multipliers and stats, making her one of the must-have meta characters (though it seems like there isn't a single Fes limited character who isn't meta). Her only drawback is that she is not suitable for Tactical Challenge (because her EX Skill's three shots require manual operation, while the Tactical Challenge can only be played on auto).
