MyGO!!!!!is《BanG Dream!》a band appearing in the franchise and its derivative works, as well as the fifth real-life girls' band under the project. The band's representative color is#3388BB。
Overview
The band name "MyGO!!!!!" is pronounced the same as the Japanese word "maigo" (迷子/まいご, meaning "lost" or "lost child"). Series composerAyana Yunikoalso mentioned that the TV anime title "It's MyGO!!!!!" also carries the meaning of "it's my turn." The five exclamation marks after "MyGO!!!!!" represent the five band members. Unlike previous bands, MyGO!!!!! is the first band with a dual guitar configuration (excluding the vocalist).
The early slogan was "It's okay to be lost,前へMove forward." (It's okay to be lost, bravely move forward.) (In fact, it has not been entirely abandoned even now). After the 4th LIVE, it was changed to the current slogan "It's okay to be lost,Even if lost,Move forward." (Unafraid of wandering, even while wandering, press onward.).
Similar toPoppin'Party, the first letters of each MyGO!!!!! member's given name can also form the word START; and each member's surname is derived from place names in Toshima, Tokyo. However, the five characters did not have surnames in the early settings, and to this day there are still occasions (such asthe narration animation for the BanG Dream! Project 10th Anniversary Concert) where characters are introduced without their surnames.
MyGO!!!!!'s logo
features the image of the North Star/compass, symbolizing that the lost members will find their direction within the band.It bears a strong resemblance to the NATO logo due to sharing the same origin
History
In an interview program,Tomori's VAHitsujimiya Hinamentioned that she received an audition opportunity in early 2021. Meanwhile,Raana's VAAoki Harunarevealed that band practice first began in the summer of 2021.
On April 29, 2022, the BanG Dream! project announced the launch of the new band MyGO!!!!![1]. Unlike other bands in the project, only the characters' given names, designs, and voices were revealed, with no surnames or voice actresses announced. The art style also differed significantly from other bands in the project. On the same day, it was announced that the 1st LIVE would be held on July 3, 2022"Bokutachi wa Koko de Sakebu"。Soyoand another then-unannounced character,Mutsumi, also appeared in Episode 2 ofBanG Dream! Morfonication(specifically at the 01:00 mark).
Even after the 1st LIVE was held, the voice actresses of the five characters were not revealed, and MyGO!!!!! continued activities under the identity of "a new band that synchronizes 'reality' and 'virtual.'" In 2022, MyGO!!!!! held2nd LIVESimilar to3rd LIVE, and released their first single "Meiseikyo." The voice actresses also recorded a radio program called "Maigo Shuukai" in character. During this period, based on fan observations at live events and official LIVE footage clips, the fan community had largely made correct guesses about the five voice actresses.
At the4th LIVEon April 9, 2023, the characters' full names, new character designs, and voice actresses were officially revealed via livestream, and it was announced that the TV anime would air in June 2023BanG Dream! It's MyGO!!!!!》。
At the anime presentation on May 24, 2023, it was officially confirmed that MyGO!!!!! would join the GBP (Girls Band Party) worldview, intersecting with the stories ofToyama Kasumiand others. On June 27, it was announced that MyGO!!!!! would be implemented inBanG Dream! Girls Band Party!in fall 2023.

On September 21, 2024, the MyGO!!!!! voice actress band held their first overseas performance at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) Rainbow Hall.
On January 12, 2026, at the Bushiroad Grand Presentation, production information for the new mobile gameBanG Dream! Our Noteswas revealed. MyGO!!!!! is one of the five initial bands in the game. On the same day, general directorNemoto Yukiconfirmed that MyGO!!!!!'s solo events in the old mobile game would cease updating.
Operations
From the early stages of operations, MyGO!!!!! was directly led byNemoto Yukirather than the then-general directorKidani Takaaki. It was also the first band in the entire project to have its own dedicated social media accounts, a practice later adopted byAve MujicaSimilar toMugendai MewType. It is worth noting that since the BanG Dream! project did not have a main project account onbilibiliBilibili until January 29, 2025[2], as MyGO!!!!! gained popularity in the Chinese-speaking community, MyGO!!!!!'s Bilibili account took on functions different from those on other platforms, such as:
- During the airing of the animeBanG Dream! It's MyGO!!!!!, to make it convenient for Bilibili viewers to watch the anime, a limited-time free viewing measure was adopted to address the situation where Bilibili had not purchased the broadcasting rights.
- After the anime ended, the account directly took over the promotional functions of the original Ave Mujica account. The original Ave Mujica account stopped posting new content, and the MyGO account was renamed "MyGO_AveMujica," simultaneously posting various content related to both bands.
- Hosting online livestreams of concerts, including MyGO!!!!! and Ave Mujica solo concerts, as well as other bands' solo concerts during multi-day consecutive concert events.

Band Style
MyGO!!!!!'s musical style is primarily melodic hardcore, supplemented by emo rock and punk rock. The atmosphere is generally somber, with lyrics often depicting feelings of being lost and helpless, yet striving to make a change.
The lyrics frequently feature extended spoken-word passages, and at concerts, lyrical recitations replace some of the MC segments. This may be to stay true to the setting that vocalist Tomori is not good at speaking but excels at expressing herself through song. This approach results in relatively shorter MC segments for MyGO!!!!!MC segments have gotten longer since the voice actresses were revealed。
Compared to other bands in the project, MyGO!!!!! has a higher frequency of songs in 3/4 or 6/8 time.
Nearly all of MyGO!!!!!'s original song titles are written in kanji, and there are frequent cases of"written as XX, read as YY"(mainly for three-character song titles).

The anime's timeline is set in the GBP worldview's Season 3 (third year) late spring, with the story revolving around the five members of MyGO!!!!! meeting and forming the band, interspersed with events related to the disbanded band CRYCHIC and another band, Ave Mujica.
